Activities
Han Bai Kung Fu began to operate visibly in the U.S. since 1993, after Master Nguyen V. Bang moved to Maryland,
U.S. and began teaching at the Y.M.C.A. in Silver Spring, MD. Today, this school's activities have successfuly
attracted wide support from the local community. In addition to being a martial art club, and a hub of community
activities for Vietnamese young and old, the Han Bai Kung fu school has been active in charity operations, helping
orphans and disabled children in Vietnam as well as disaster victims in the U.S.
The Han Bai Kung Fu School is not just a martial art school. It's also a community of fun and loving individuals.
Besides providing a venue for young people to get involved in healthy, enjoyable activities, the Han Bai Kung Fu
School has been active in many charity causes. In the summer of 2007, Han Bai Kung Fu students in Maryland
contributed $1,750 to help orphans and disabled people in Vietnam. The school also contributed to the flood relief,
other charity causes in previous years.
