Encouraged by some Han Bai Kung Fu masters, particularly Grand Master Nguyen Viet Bang,
instructors Vũ Chân Hy Vũ and Lưu Quốc Khang opened the Han Bai Club in 2007 at the Khoi Viet
Tourism and Hospitality School in Saigon. Five years later, the Club moved to the Vietnamese
American Association Language School in the Phu Nhuan district, Saigon. On weekend mornings,
students practice the typical forms, drills, sparring, Plum Blossom poles, and breathing exercises.
During the past eight years, the Club has grown steadily under the guidance of the dedicated
instructor staff and the strong support from Master Huynh van Loc, one of Founder Mi's disciples.
The non-profit Han Bai Club is not only a playground for students of all ages but also a place of
friendly and supportive community of students, family, and instructors to improve self-confidence and
self-esteem, stay healthy and reduce stress, and defend themselves when needed.
